Katrina Cottage II

Katrina Cottage II was the first new building to rise in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Brian C. Bishop oversaw the manufacture and construction of this innovative building designed by the noted New Urbanist architect Andrés Duany. In 2009, Bishop cut the building in half an moved it to its new home in the "Katrina Village" in Ocean Springs, Miss. Read more about the Katrina Cottage and its move.
